Armenian troops breach truce 27 times throughout the day

The Armenian armed units shattered ceasefire with Azerbaijan a total of 27 times throughout the day, Azerbaijan`s Defense Ministry reported on November 28.

The Armenian armed forces, stationed in Armenia`s Barekamavan village in Noyemberyan region, Mosesgekh village and nameless hills in Berd region subjected to fire the positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces located in Gaymagli village in Gazakh region, Kokhanabi, Aghdam and Munjuglu villages in Tovuz region.

The ceasefire was also violated near Chilaburt village in Tartar region, Shikhlar and Javahirli villages in Aghdam region, Kuropatkino village in Khojavand region, as well as nameless hills in Goranboy, Tartar and Fuzuli regions.

Azerbaijan's internationally recognized Nagorno-Karabakh territory was turned into a battlefield and zone of aggravated tensions after Armenia sent its troops to occupy Azerbaijan's lands. As a result, 20 percent of Azerbaijan's internationally recognized territory stands under military occupation. For the past two decades, and despite calls from the international community, Armenia has refused to withdraw its troops and retreat within its national borders.
